Simo Partanen, PT
Registered Physiotherapist & Clinic Director
Simo received his Masters of Physical Therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York in 2008 after completing his Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario in 2004. After graduation, Simo began practicing as a specialized outpatient orthopedic practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado, receiving numerous hours of clinical mentorship with FCAMPT and FAAOMPT level therapists. In addition to being in full-time clinical practice, Simo was the acting clinical director for his Colorado Springs clinic.
In 2012, Simo relocated back to Toronto and has been serving the downtown Toronto since that time. Simo has been instrumental in developing and maintaining core relationships with many large corporations within downtown Toronto while providing best practice principles to their employees. By specializing in hands on manual therapy (joint mobilization/manipulation, trigger point dry needling/IMS, myofascial release techniques, neuro-reeducation, and mobilizations) and coupling these techniques with exercise prescription and patient education, Simo ensures that all his patients maximize their level of recovery and function.
Simo has also been recognized by the Sunlife Lumino app as one of the highest rated physiotherapists within downtown Toronto.
Over the past 14 months, Simo has also been involved with a start-up – UCOBO. Started by the founder, Simo realized its potential and joined as a partner and Head of Corporate Sales. UCOBO’s first product to market is LOBAK. It will be world’s first customized and often insurance approved low back support. UCOBO has already had a successful Kickstarter campaign and are preparing for their second campaign with IndieGoGO in the coming months.
Outside of work, Simo leads a very active and healthy lifestyle. Simo’s day often begins with a 1hr strength and conditioning program before enjoying his morning with his two kids. His boys and family are his life and they can often be seen playing hockey, baseball, biking/scootering, hiking and fishing. Dr. Harriet Lee, DC
Chiropractor and Acupuncture Provider
Dr. Harriet Lee graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with a Doctorate of Chiropractic, and from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Kinesiology.
Dr. Lee has worked in various multi-disciplinary clinics and values collaborative, patient centered care. She enjoys working with individuals dealing with any and all issues. At the end of the day, her goal is to make a difference regardless of how big or small it may be. Whether it’s helping someone regain their strength to return to an activity that they enjoy, or for a parent/grandparent who wants to keep up with their loved ones.
She is all about reaching those aspirations together while sharing some laughs along the way!
Ada Kate Wight, MOMSc (Osteo)
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Ada Kate is a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) in Hamilton Ontario, where she received her Master in Practice Diploma of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc) and she is a great enthusiast of all things outdoors. She has a keen interest in wellness in general, beginning with a life long yoga practice and a deep respect for the potential of the body.
The principles of osteopathy speak to the body’s ability to self heal and self regulate under the right conditions and Ada Kate wants to support patients through individualized care that is appropriate for that person, at that moment. Supporting/improving quality of life and feeling well prepared for whatever the future holds are key goals in Ada Kate’s approach to osteopathy. She wants patients to feel empowered and informed about their bodies, and as such endeavours to include that education in her treatment room.
Dr. Ishani Patel ND
Dr. Ishani Patel, ND is a board certified Naturopathic Doctor by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2022, where she obtained her 4 year Doctor of Naturopathy Degree, completed a 1 year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, and externship at Women360 Care. Through clinical and personal experiences, Dr. Ishani Patel, ND has taken a clinical interest in women’s health, fertility, endometriosis, hormonal imbalances, gastrointestinal health, fibromyalgia, and autoimmune related concerns. Prior to her naturopathic studies, she obtained her undergraduate degree from Trent University in Honours Biology specializing in Health Sciences. She spent her earlier years working in rehabilitation clinics developing a greater understanding on the benefits of physical medicine, exercise, manipulations, and ultrasound therapy for pain relief. Most importantly, she is a hardworking and compassionate doctor who wholeheartedly tries her best to help her patients achieve their health goals.
Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Elissa has been an RMT since 2019. She completed her training and first four years of practice in British Columbia before moving to Toronto in June 2023. Elissa is currently accepting new clients and offers direct billing to select extended health plans. She has a genuine interest in the health and well being of each of her clients. Elissa strives to work alongside clients to create specific, goal based treatment plans to get clients back to their optimal health. She has additional education on Fascial release techniques, women’s health post partum as well as Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM).
Receptionist & Administrative Assistant
Alyssa also goes by Aly. She recently graduated Office Administration in Healthcare at George Brown College. She is currently an administrative assistant at Physio On Queen, and also a Team Leader at McDonald’s for 2 years. In this role, Alyssa is entrusted to greet and interact with patients and looks after the practitioner’s schedules.
On off-days, you will see her hanging out with her church-mates. She loves hiphop and r&b music. She is active in all her social media’s specially Tiktok!
